Wild-harvested Brazilian cupuacu seed butter is the foundation of my balm products. I chose it for its ability to absorb water and retain moisture in skin.  Cupuacu butter feels smooth and absorbs quickly. A cousin of cacao, it has a subtle, fruity, chocolaty aroma. The cupuacu butter in my products comes from Rainforest Chica; her ingredients are superior as well as sustainably sourced and fairly traded.
